Airing October 15-19 from 7-8 p.m. EST the new National Geographic Channel will feature a selection of Traveler magazine’s master writers, who crafted essays for our America’s 50 Places of a Lifetime October 2001 issue. These essays feature highlighted cities, monuments, and wilderness areas close to their heart. Such writers as Ken Kesey, Carl Hiassen, and Janise Ray will be on location to chat about their personal places of a lifetime.
